In 2012, Alliance for Girls (AFG) was founded with a mission to improve coordination of services for girls, catalyze the voice of the sector, and advocate for the needs of girls and their champions. Starting out as a membership of 8 girl-serving organizations, the Alliance is now a community of more than 100 member organizations and 7,500+ adult allies who serve 300,000 girls and young women across the San Francisco Bay Area.

In August 2018, Alliance for Girls embarked on a 6-month strategic planning process, conducting surveys, research, and a wide range of conversations, with the goal of ultimately answering the following questions:

Where are we at? What has been working and what has not been working?
Where are we going in the next 3 years?
How?

We are excited to wrap up the process and share our newly minted 3-year Strategic Plan!
